Crafted from chamois fabric — which takes its name from a type of antelope in the Alps, speaking to its practical, outdoorsy origins — this shirt is soft but substantial. The midweight cotton fabric comes to us from Portugal; it’s made by weaving a thicker and thinner yarn together for a unique high-low effect. With a slightly roomy fit designed for layering, it looks excellent worn over a long-sleeved tee, one of our Favorite shirts, or a cashmere turtleneck. Workwear detailing includes the double-needle construction and a patch-and-flap chest pocket.
